In 2012, Fortis Group joined NAI Global, the largest global network of owner-operated commercial real estate firms. As part of this powerful network, including over 325 offices in 65 countries and more than 5,800 real estate professionals, NAI Fortis Group expanded its geographic reach and gained access to additional resources to better serve its clients.
Fortis Group, LLC was founded in 2001 in Louisville, Kentucky by seasoned real estate professionals with expertise in all aspects of commercial real estate services including property management, project leasing, brokerage, development and construction management. The executive leadership team had a combined 56 years with Trammell Crow Company, one of the world’s largest and most successful commercial real estate firms.
At its inception in 2001, Fortis Group provided property management, leasing and construction management services for over 2.5 million square feet of office, service center and industrial space in the Louisville area, serving several national real estate investment management companies. Since then, the managed portfolio has grown to 8 million square feet, making Fortis Group one of the largest commercial property services firms in Kentucky. Brokerage services expanded also in tenant representation, and land and investment sales. The firm represents local, regional and national companies for real estate acquisition and leasing assignments spanning all commercial product types.

NAI Fortis Group has been active in development and construction management, primarily in the industrial sector. Since 2007, the firm has completed over $200 million in warehouse/distribution projects in the Louisville metro area ranging from 70,000 sf to 660,000 sf.
